In Romania, over 75,000 children have parents working abroad and are left in the care of relatives, most often grandparents.
The Social Incubator Association and Vola.ro have launched a joint project to alleviate the longing of families separated by this distance.
We have identified over 100 families separated due to economic migration, where at least one of the parents is going to work abroad, in order to provide a better life for their loved ones at home. Out of these, 50 cases were selected for participation in the “Home found” project, based on the eligibility criteria established by the official regulation, the answers to the questions in the application form and following the social investigations conducted.
